Savchenko Grigory Nazarovich was born in 1898 in the village of Golodaevo, Starobelsky district, Voroshilovgrad region. In 1941, at the age of 43, he went to the front. Was a rifleman in the 353rd Infantry Regiment of the 47th Infantry Division on the Kalinin and Second Baltic Front. On October 10, 1943, he was wounded by a mine fragment in his left thigh. 11/09/1943 died in evacuation hospital number 2479 in the town of Toropets, Kalinin (now Tver) region.
