Beloglazov Ivan Petrovich

There were many examples of self-sacrifice for the common cause at that time. The train driver Ivan Petrovich Beloglazov was driving a train. On one of the runs, a control plug was knocked out of the steam locomotive's boiler. The driver was not taken aback. He jammed the hole and brought the train to the station. In peacetime, not everyone would have dared to lead the train in the face of the threat of a steam boiler explosion. And during the war years, when the delivery of cargo to its destination was extremely important, it was not considered a feat.
