Alexander Fedotovich Efremov 05.05.1925 - 09.04.1945 Place of birth: village Monastyrskoe, Kalininsky district, Saratov region. From 1942 to 1943 studied in Pugachev district school of snipers. After graduation from the sniper school was called up to the front. From the front, he wrote very warm letters to his parents, Fedot Mikhailovich and Anna Nikolaevna. At the end of each letter he would definitely ascribe: "Wait! I will be back!" He was killed on 9.04.1945 in Grunberg, Germany. Buried in a single grave in the Protestant cemetery. Awarded medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad", the rank of junior sergeant. In 1945 he was awarded the "Order of the Red Star" already with the rank of junior lieutenant.
