During the Great Patriotic War, Taisiya Efimovna went to the front as a nurse. She carried the wounded under the bombing from the battlefield, bandaged them, rescued. She fought in the army in evacuation hospital 133, 1320 on the 2nd Belorussian Front from February 1942 to May 1945. Taisiya Efimovna met the victory in Poland.
