Pavel Alekseevich Sokolov, junior sergeant, commander of the artillery gun, was born in the village of Bulychevo, Belevsky district, Tula region. From the first to the last day of the war, he was on the fronts. He did not return home until 1946, but his mother did not wait for a soldier, losing one after another to one of her sons. Three returned, and three died defending the honour and independence of the Motherland.
