Iosif Serdyukov - engineer of the 99th Separate Engineer Battalion of the 69th Rifle Division of the 65th Army of the Central Front, a corpsman. Iosif Serdyukov was born on September 27 (October 10), 1906 in Stanovoye farm, now Veidelevsky district, Belgorod region. By the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from October 30, 1943 for exemplary performance of tasks of command and the courage and heroism shown in fights with fascist invaders, corporal Joseph Serdyukov was awarded the title of the Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal.
