On August 10, 1941, the 17-year-old Lebedev Dmitry Mikhailovich (born 1924), a native of the Mari Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Dr. Kadam, was photographed. This is his first and only photograph. On 15 February 1943, at the age of 19, he died in battles in the Leningrad Region. He was buried in the village of Naziya. He was a telephone operator.
