Soldiers of the Red Army in the liberated Bryansk (the far left - SF Ukrainets).

On 17 September 1943, the 323rd Rifle Division, commanded by Colonel Sergei Fyodorovich Ukrainians, liberated the city of Bryansk. The same number dated the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where it was noted that, along with other units and formations, the 323rd Rifle Division was particularly distinguished during the liberation of Bryansk and was named "Bryansk". In 1966, S.F. Ukrainians was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Bryansk".
