Rank: Sergeant Branch of service: Signal Troops Unit: 360th Nevelskaya Double Red Banner Rifle Division My great-great-grandfather Andrey Koludarov was born on October 30, 1912 in the working village of Kamskoye Ustye of the Kamsko-Ustinsky District of the Tatar ASSR, near the city of Kazan. In 1932, he married my great-great-grandmother Anastasia, and in 1934, my great-grandfather Alexander Koludarov was born. In 1941, the Great Patriotic War began, and my great-great-grandfather was at the front of the war to defend our great and beloved Homeland. He was 29 years old. During the war, he was a signalman and served as a radio operator for the regiment commander. He went on reconnaissance, was always on the front line of fire. He served as a Sergeant. He participated in the heroic defense of Moscow at Velikiye Luki as part of the division. Only 25 people came out of the battle alive, including my great-great-grandfather Andrey. How many comrades died before his eyes, how many emotions and grief passed through his heart, how many times he was covered with earth, and how many times bullets flew over his head! Apparently, the guardian angel was protecting him so that he would return safe and sound. During all the battles of the division, he personally provided the division headquarters with radio communications. He participated in the offensive battles for Velikiye Luki, Nevel, in the Vitebsk Region, kept uninterrupted communication with the regiments in difficult combat conditions. He was a participant in the liberation battles for Belarus and the Soviet Baltic States, in the offensive battles for Polotsk, Kraslava, Dvins. Andrey finished the war in Berlin and returned home in the summer of 1945. But, unfortunately, he did not live a very long time. He died on January 8, 1971. He was just 59 years old. We all remember and love him. May his memory be eternal!

Rank: Petty Officer. Type of troops: Signal troops. Our father Sergei Andreevich Ivanov met the beginning of the war in Leningrad, but front-line mobilization did not affect him immediately, because on June 18, 1941, while undergoing field practice as part of his studies at the geodetic technical school, he broke his left collarbone and until November was being treated at the trauma institute ... On November 8, he was sent to study at the military school of radio operators of the Leningrad Front to study radio business. From the beginning of September 1941, the circle of the blockade of Leningrad was closed. The difficult pages of the life of the townspeople began. In his memoirs, the father writes that he wanted to eat and sleep all the time. Once, leaving the dugout where the students-radio operators lived, he lost consciousness and woke up in the hospital. In early April 1942 he was sent to the 55th Army, which was stationed in the southeast in the Rybatskoye settlement. There he met the radio operators, with whom he was later linked by many years of friendship. Among them was Vyacheslav Lappo - an Estonian, a good-natured person, the future creator of the receiving antenna of the first artificial Earth satellite. From my father's recollections of the war: "A terrible shelling was in one of the autumn days of 1943. The Nazis fired at the territory of the Spartak garden, which was located in the southeast of Leningrad. There, in a van, was my radio station. A trench was dug for the car, but since the soil was swampy, it was not possible to dig deeply. We only managed to cover the chassis of the car, and the van was almost all over the trench. During the shelling, I received a radiogram. Through the window I saw how the shells exploded and the explosions approached the radio station. One of the fragments from the explosion, breaking through the roof of the van, fell on the table where the radio station was. I took the splinter - it was still hot, the next explosion threw the car in which I was sitting and shook it violently. After the artillery shelling, the commander of our company said that the shell went into the swampy soil under the car and exploded in the depths. He scolded me for not getting out of the car and hiding in a trench. I replied: “How would the soldiers and the command look at me after that?” During this shelling and senior sergeant Podgorny was wounded by a shrapnel in the arm. He was saved from death by the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad" - a splinter hit it. On this day, two of our officers were killed. " Together with the 55th Army, (later 67) of the Leningrad Front, my father participated in the liberation of the Leningrad, the territory of the present Pskov region and the Baltic states. As a participant in hostilities during the Great Patriotic War, my father was awarded medals "For Courage", "For the Defense of Leningrad", the Order of the Great Patriotic War and other jubilee government awards. Since 1948, his father's life is closely connected with the Pskov State Pedagogical Institute named after CM. Kirov (hereinafter - the Pskov State Pedagogical University), he has gone from a student of the Faculty of History to Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, head of the department. The memory of him is forever with us. Sons Andrey and Victor, grandchildren Pavel, Natalia, Alina.

After his recovery, he served in the 482nd separate communications battalion as a telephone operator on permanent lines from October 1942 to October 1943. Was wounded again. Departments of government communications were created at the fronts. Separate regiments, battalions and companies were subordinate to them. Communication was organized along "axes" and "directions". "Axial" was pulled to the front headquarters (usually 2 lines in different places). A "direction" was laid to the armies in one line. On March 18, 1946, the NKVD was renamed the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In August 1946, he was transferred to the 157th Red Banner Infantry Regiment of the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (from January 21, 1947, the Internal Troops of the MGB) as an encoder-cipher. In addition, he was awarded various jubilee medals.

Rank: Sergeant Branch: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops Subdivision: 193rd Infantry Dnieper Order of Lenin Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov Division. My grandfather Alexey Filippovich Krutilin was born on March 30, 1909 in the village. Pletnevka, Volsky district, Saratov region. Called up by the Volsky GVK, Volsk, Saratov region. Sergeant Krutilin Alexey Filippovich began to fight in January 1943. During his stay in the division, he works on communication between the rear of the division and the higher headquarters. During offensive battles, when headquarters quickly move from one place to another, Comrade. Krutilin quickly searches for a new location for the high headquarters and there was no case that he did not deliver operational documents to the high headquarters on time. The riding horse attached to it at the fronts and army reviews received a good rating. During offensive operations, the horse attached to it retained its combat capability. Alexey Filippovich was nominated for a government award - the medal "For Military Merit". He was also awarded the medal "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945." After the end of the war, grandfather returned home alive. I did not find my grandfather, because I was born after his death. From the memoirs of Galina's daughter, Alexey Filippovich worked in the village of Shikhany-2. According to her, her father was a strict, fair and responsible person. Aleksey Filippovich Krutilin died on February 1, 1958. He was buried in the cemetery in the village of Shikhany-2, Volsky District, Saratov Region.

PLACE OF BIRTH: Babushkin city of Buryat-Mongolian ASSR. DATE OF BIRTH: 17.04.1927. DATE OF DEATH: HISTORY: Rank: Red Army Soldier. Corps: Signal Troops. After seven years school, he graduated from the factory school, receiving the profession of an assistant driver. In 1942, at the age of fifteen, he ran away from Ulan-Ude, where their family lived, to the front. It is possible that he applied to the military enlistment office in the Saratov region, where his aunt lived. In his military ticket the year of birth is 1923, and in his passport – 1927. According to the stories, he served in the infantry as a signalman, carried out assignments to restore broken communications. He knew Morse code, which he taught me in my childhood. He was wounded twice. The first time he was wounded in the thigh. After the hospital he went again in the front line. The second serious wound was received in 1945 at the end of the war. He was wounded in the head with damage to the bones of the occipital part, was contused. He was in a hospital somewhere near the Western border, for a year from 1945 to 1946. In the hospital, he learned to walk again. At the first time he communicated with doctors in Morse code, then he learned to write with his left hand, then with his right hand, then he learned to speak. He was discharged from the hospital as a disabled person of group II. For several years he wore a leather helmet on his head to protect the back of his head until the wound was overgrown with cartilage. In the spring of 1946, he accompanied his relative from the hospital to his home in the village of Khrenovoe in the Voronezh region, who had no leg, because there were not enough nurses to accompany the wounded to their place of residence when they were discharged from the hospital. In this village, he met my mother and married her at the age of 19. In 1947, just on my father's birthday, my brother was born, and in 1951 I was born. Now I am very sorry that I did not ask my father enough about his military campaigns. As a child, I had enough of the little information that my father told me to consider him a hero! In 1974, my parents divorced, and my father left us and gone away. Unfortunately, communication with him was interrupted. In 1998, my brother went to visit relatives in his father's homeland and wrote in a letter that he had visited his father's grave in his homeland. I don't know exactly when my father died or where he was buried. But unfortunately, my brother Vladimir, after the second letter in which he wrote that he wanted to return to his homeland in the village of Khrenovoe, went missing. Communication with him was interrupted. Since 1998 I don't know anything about him.

Our father, grandfather, great-grandfather Spirichev Veniamin Petrovich, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, served in the Far East in military unit No. 19919 ... The war with Japan was short, but fierce. The Soviet army fought against the elite Kwantung Army. Veniamin Petrovich was born on November 21, 1926 in the village of Ivankovo, Sholsky district. After finishing 7th grade, he worked at a sleeper factory in Konevo. In October 1943 he was drafted into the Red Army and sent to the Far East in the Dubovoye borough near the border. He served in the 3 Crimean division of the 8th rifle regiment of the 6th company as a private. Then he was transferred to the 88th separate communications company as a telephone operator, and later as a telegraph operator. “When they declared war with Japan, on the night of August 9-10 they crossed the Amur River and entered the Manchurian land. Here began the baptism of fire to destroy the Kwantung Army of Japan. The fortification was very strong, it was located in the hills, where no equipment would enter. Our division suffered heavy losses. Not without losses among us, communications workers. I will describe only one memorable incident. When our division fought fierce battles to capture the fortified area in the hills, our separate communications company provided communications between the division headquarters and the regiment. Communication with the division headquarters was cut off. Me and two other signalmen were urgently sent to restore the telephone line. The area was fired upon by Japanese suicide bombers. Around the hills and a short, human-sized oak tree. We walked one after another at an interval. Suddenly we were fired upon. All three of us immediately fell and crawled away in different directions. After a while, the second and third shots followed. One of the comrades was mortally wounded. Not far from this place, a squad of reconnaissance soldiers was ambushed. They heard shots and went to meet them. A firefight began. My friend and I went further to fulfill our task. Soon the damage was repaired, the connection was restored. A detachment of reconnaissance soldiers, tied to a tree, as we learned later, was destroyed by Japanese suicide bombers . When we went back, we decided to shorten the distance. From the hill on which we were, we could see our own unit and the front line, where battles were going on to destroy the fortified area. When we went down from the hill into the hollow, went out onto the road, carts with wounded soldiers came to meet us. The seriously wounded lay on the carts, but easily walked behind the carts. I saw a wounded friend from Konev, Nikolai Ivanovich Afanasyev, walking by. After a short conversation, we moved on, but lost our bearings. We were at the forefront. We turned back. Then we approached the barbed wire fence and were ambushed. Later we learned that there were soldiers in the ambush. And it turned out like this. Our troops, having liberated a part of the fortified area, which was surrounded by a wire fence, left several soldiers disguised in weeds at each bunker. And so, when we drew level with these pillboxes, we heard: “Stop who is coming!”. We answered: "Ours". And it could have been different, if they would not have shouted at us, but would have opened an automatic fire. I have awards: the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, the medal “For the victory over Japan. After seven years of service he was demobilized in October 1950 ”- from the memoirs of Veniamin Petrovich Spirichev. Dad was awarded medals: "For the victory over Japan", "30 years of the Soviet Army and the Navy", "25 years of victory over Germany."
