Cherepanov Veniamin Ivanovich

Davydov Fyodor Vasilievich_x000D_ _x000D_ He served in the Navy. While on a convoy guard boat, he destroyed two enemy Messerschmitts in one battle and was awarded the order of the red Star. This is just one episode of the glorious path of my grandfather, who began his military career in 1941 and ended it in 1945 in Japan. It was the path of a simple hero, a Russian sailor who saved me, my three brothers and two sisters. He defended his country without complaining or crying, but marching forward without looking back. My grandfather didn't look back, because he was afraid, afraid of losing sight of the enemy, whom he hated fiercely. He hated it for his wounded and tormented Homeland, maimed and abused. He was small in stature, thin as a chip, and possessed neither heroic strength, nor immortality, nor iron health. So why did he survive? Why did Grandfather Fedya, who had never even fired a hunting rifle before the war, shoot iron monsters to death? How could he win this war? I don't know the answer, I forgot to ask him how he did it. He died when I was eight, and I just didn't have time. I just didn't have time... I'm trying to correct this mistake and put myself in his shoes to understand him. But I can't. I can't imagine that I'm standing in a shower of hot iron, that I'm sleeping in a trench in a forty-degree frost, that the day is dark as night because of the smoke and dust, that for four years, 1400 days and nights I have to go to my death... Every minute. Now there are a lot of treacherous screams about why we remember this War, they say, it's time for us to forget this page. But I know for sure that the Russian people experienced the brink of destruction, this is the very moment when we hung over the abyss and had to fall there, disappearing into the abyss forever. And this must be remembered. Everyone should remember this. This cannot be forgiven or forgotten. My grandfather lived a simple life and tried not to think about the war. Only a few times we managed to get him to tell us a couple of stories from those days. And he told us about how he went to his death and saw her walking around. He told some episodes casually, as if remembering how he went fishing yesterday. We were children and didn't think about it deeply. But now I understand that my Grandfather is a hero, not because he shot down twenty planes, but because he was a Hero, a Hero who was supposed to save Russia and destroy the enemy!

Dryuchkov Boris Alexandrovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Dryuchkov Boris Alexandrovich, a senior Lieutenant. Born on may 13, 1920 in Maykop, Krasnodar region. He was drafted into the Armed forces on September 16, 1937 by the Novocherkassk city military enlistment office of the Rostov region. In 1937, he entered and on June 30, 1941, graduated from the course of the red banner naval Artillery school of Coastal Defense named after the Lenin Communist Youth Union of Ukraine of the Naval Forces (Sevastopol), majoring in "Gunner" (qualification of a coastal artillery officer) with the military rank of "Lieutenant". Member of the heroic defense of Sevastopol in the period from June 1941, gunner, platoon commander of the 724 division of the coast guard of the black sea fleet (724 battery fought until the last day of the defense of Sevastopol). In battle, he was seriously wounded, was captured, from which he escaped three times. Since July 3, 1942, he was considered missing in the city of Sevastopol. After the war, smog returned to Maykop in 1948, where he worked until 1950 at the Lesomebel plant. In 1950, he married Vera Vasilyevna Zhdeneva, a fellow countryman. The marriage produced a son, Andrey (1951), and a daughter, Ekaterina (1958). As a former prisoner of war, for many years he was restricted in movement around the country and living in some of its territories. From 1950 to 1951, he worked in Arkhangelsk at the Rigging office of the Dvinosplav trust. In 1951, due to family circumstances, he was able to return with his family to Maykop, where he continued working at the Druzhba Furniture production Association until 1980. For many years of work, he was awarded the medal " for conscientious work "(1970) and the medal" Veteran of labor " (1980). After retiring, he worked at a blood transfusion station until 1988. The peaceful part of his life was devoted to the successful search for classmates and colleagues (he found more than 100 people). In times of high spirits, the team of "like-minded people" (unfortunately, it is getting thinner every year) regularly gathered in the hero city of Sevastopol, celebrating round and memorable dates. The last meeting was held in 1991. In recent years, he was seriously ill and passed away on may 17, 1994, leaving behind a bright, kind and sincere memory and a unique, subtle, elegant, sparkling and indestructible sense of humor. Military awards: the Medal "for the defense of Sevastopol "(Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 22, 1942) was awarded on July 17, 1985 – the most expensive award, which came, unfortunately, late, but, fortunately, was awarded during his lifetime. The medal "for the victory over Germany in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 "(Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated may 09, 1945) was awarded on March 26, 1986. Order of the Patriotic war II class for bravery, fortitude and courage shown in the fight against the Nazi invaders, and in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 (Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 11, 1985).

Vernigora Peter Fedorovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Military branch: the Soviet Navy and Naval forces of the NKVD border troops. Vernigora Pyotr Fedorovich was born on December 19, 1921 in the village of Gora-Podol in the Grayvoronsky district of the Kursk region. Before the war, he graduated from Grayvoron high school. In 1940, Grayvoronsky military enlistment office was called up for military service. He was assigned to the Baltic fleet. At the beginning, he received a degree in hydroacoustics in Kronstadt. When the war began, P. F. Vernigora was enlisted in the staff of the submarine. But when the Germans bombed it right at the pier, he was transferred to another, larger boat. In the book of V. I. Dmitriev "Attack submariners" there are these lines: "... on October 6, 1944, the submarine "Shch-407" won its first victory. She sank in the district of Memel transport "Leda". And the next day, the submarine "Shch-407" in the afternoon attacked another enemy ship with torpedoes. It turned out to be a trap ship. Due to its low landing, the torpedoes did not hit the target. After the torpedo attack, the trap ship chased the submarine for about a day and a half." This is about the boat on which P. F. Vernigora served. Pyotr Fyodorovich remembered that campaign well. They had been cruising the area for several days, but there was no suitable target. Finally, during lunch, the officer of the watch noticed a large transport accompanied by several anti-submarine ships through the periscope. The commander's order for a torpedo attack followed. A few minutes later, the command "Fire!" rang out, and two torpedoes raced toward the transport. The roar of the explosion of one of the torpedoes that hit the ship's side did not take long. A retaliatory attack by the guard ships immediately followed. Depth charges began to explode around the submarine one after another. There was a hum in the submarine's compartments from the powerful hydraulic blows to the hull. From the closest breaks from the walls, the cork coating bounced, light bulbs burst, and equipment was torn off the slipways. In this situation, everything depended on the skill of the commander, and of course, on the skill of the sonar. He reported every maneuver of the enemy to the commander. Well, the latter, armed with complete and accurate information about the enemy, managed to outwit him in the end, and all managed to escape unharmed. And then they came across the ill-fated trap ship. They fired a torpedo at it. The commander clearly saw that it had hit the middle of the ship. But it turned out that the ship was sitting too high in the water, and the torpedo passed below her keel. The design of the torpedoes was such that they could not go less than two meters from the surface of the water. This is what the Germans played for. They built vessels with a draft of less than two meters, and made them trap vessels that were invulnerable to torpedoes. After the failed attack, they had to leave the enemy ships for more than a day and a half. 148 depth charges were dropped on them. From their breaks, among other things, jammed the sword, a recently installed sonar installation of English production. And as soon as the submarine broke away from the pursuit, the commander gave the order to fix the problem in two hours. Pyotr Fyodorovich opened the shaft of the installation, pulled out a half-ton sword on hoists and repaired it. The order was executed on time. But during the repair, his hands were so raw that he was in bandages for more than two weeks, and the scars from those wounds remained for life. Not only bombs, mines and shells brought death to submariners. There was danger at every turn. So one day their submarine, while evading pursuit, ran into a damaged ship and damaged one of the damaged shafts so that it jammed. From the very coast of Germany, they had to return to Turku on one rampart. Another time, a submarine was sucked into an underwater cave during a twelve-ball storm. There was no forward or backward movement. It was as if they were buried alive in a stone bag. But then the commander with the help of special tricks still managed to escape from the stone trap. And the life of sailors on a submarine was not sugar. Only the commander had a microscopic cabin, and even that one hung under the battery pit, and the rest of the crew even had one bed for two. Therefore, sometimes you had to sleep right at the bottom of the hold, often half-submerged in salty sea water. However, the food was good. And when he came out of the trip, the crew brought no bread with salt, and roast suckling pig. In total, P. F. Vernigora took part in four campaigns, in which they sank four enemy transports. Their total displacement was several tens of thousands of tons. This was the best result in the Navy for their class of boats. For the courage and heroism shown in battles with the enemy, Pyotr Vernigora was awarded the order of the red Star and the Patriotic war, the medals "for bravery", "for the defense of Leningrad, "for the capture of Konigsberg", "Admiral Ushakov" and others. He cherished the flag of the Navy and was proud to have served in the Navy. In 1948, Pyotr Fedorovich retired to the reserve. Pyotr Fyodorovich devoted more than 40 years to work in the public education system, headed the Zamostyansk, Dobroselskaya school. Then, until his retirement, he worked as a teacher of physics and mathematics in the Mountain-Podolsk school. After leaving for a well-deserved rest, Pyotr Fyodorovich continued to participate in the social life of the village. Vernigora P. F. died in January 2005, but the memories of this brave warrior and good man will always remain in the memory of the residents of the village of Gora-Podol

"Vasuk Stepan Alekseevich_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Captain of the 3rd rank Type of troops: The Soviet Navy and Naval forces border troops of the NKVD. Unfortunately, it is impossible to ask him how it was, what was decided, built, implemented with his participation and under his leadership, how the Okita team moved forward step by step, what Vasyuk liked, and what he irreconcilably fought — he will not tell you about this. Stepan Alekseevich finished his earthly journey, and left everything that he did not have time to finish to his successors and heirs. “Stepan Alekseyevich Vasyuk — He was a peculiar person,” - recalls the engineer of the production Department A. p. Serdyuk. — “I had been at the company since the first days, I started working in may 1968 with Aleshko and Burov. He was the first Secretary of the party organization. Vasyuk came to us from the shipyard. Having got acquainted with the situation and production, he focused on improving its technical level. But production is not only machines, boilers, without people they are just a pile of dead metal. “Production growth,”- said the new Manager, “begins where competent specialists become more productive machines.” This is the course we took: updating equipment and training, retraining personnel. Both are continuous. If something new and interesting was planned and started, the Director stuck to him like a magnet to metal. He was an enthusiastic person. If they are already ""sick"" of an interesting idea, they will not rest until they finish the job. This was the case, for example, with the introduction of vacuum diaeration. We got acquainted with this new product in Zaporozhye, where we were on courses. Vasyuk lit up: “we will do it at home!” He went there again, brought the drawings, and our craftsmen themselves made the first such installation. Put it in the boiler room at St. Krasnostudenchesky and the other on the prospectus of Builders, and then off we go… This is the rule he taught us: if you see something new, understand it properly, evaluate it, and if you are convinced that the game is worth the candle - get down to business and do not back down until you solve it. This passion, this desire to solve everything, is seriously remembered by other specialists who had to work with Vasyuk next to them or watch him at work. The 70s are special for our company because it was during this decade that a sharp turn took place - from many good, but disparate production and technical measures to a holistic technical policy. This was a harbinger of the future — our current, for example, programmatic approach to solving global problems. Earlier it was told about the construction and commissioning of the first stage of the boiler house in the Shumen microdistrict, about its significance for the further development of technical progress. “I remember how it was built” — says the Deputy Director M. G. Rassolov. – “As a mother does not leave her child, so Stepan Alekseyevich came here several times a day, and sometimes even at night, delved into all the questions, held planning meetings here himself, was seething, raging, happy, indignant”. The energy was pouring out of him and infecting all of us. The boiler room was his brainchild, and now we can say a monument to him. Mikhail Gavrilovich also recalls how Vasyuk tirelessly searched for good employees, specialists, invited them, lured them from everywhere. A former shipbuilder himself, he lured a whole group of experienced craftsmen, operators, and welders from the factory. One of them was master A. N. Ptitsa, and through it, with its help, dragged Vasyuk from the shipbuilding plant to his enterprise by the operator of the boiler room and M. G. Rassolov. Ptitsa later became the first head of the new operational area, and a few years later he was replaced by Mikhail Rassolov. — “We liked the Director's commitment,” - continues memories Mikhail Gavrilovich. – “Said, then did, promised, then fulfilled. With rare exceptions, this rule was not violated by them. When he invited me to work for him, he promised me and Ptitsa to get apartments within a year. And he kept his word. This is remembered by the senior master of TER-1 A. A. Tomilko, and our other employees. Some say that the Director was sometimes cool and hot in his decisions, this gave rise to conflict situations in which he did not always take the right, balanced position, in a hurry did something that, after cooling down, he was in a hurry to fix, make amends. Sometimes, though, it was too late. As, for example, happened with the departure from the enterprise group of good people — instrumentation and automation specialists. Of course, we are all living people, and nothing human is alien to us — neither good impulses, nor delusions. But a person who never makes mistakes is probably a mistake of nature itself. However, this does not give us an indulgence, absolution for mistakes, especially in working with people. The 70s raised our company to a level where it could solve the issues of heat supply to the city more competently and efficiently. But this was to be done by Vasyuk's successors. He laid a good Foundation for this work.” In 1980, Stepan Alekseyevich retired and passed his directorial baton to N. S. Krutko. Having got used to live daily in a whirlpool of various cares, the pensioner Vasyuk worked for several more years in emergency dispatching service, then finally left for a well-deserved rest. This man left a good memory among us._x000D_ _x000D_ "

My grandfather Postnikov Stepan Ivanovich, starshina of 1st article. After military service, in 1939 he served on the minesweeper T-504 "Rabotnik", which was engaged in the protection of the water area of the Main Base of the Black Sea Fleet. Since 17.07.1941, the minesweeper under the hull number "34" had been part of 3rd minesweeper Division of the Black Sea Fleet. He delivered military supplies to Odessa, Sevastopol, Skadovsk. On 11/02/1941 the ship was torpedoed and sunk by enemy aircraft during the transition from Balaklava to Tuapse with a load of spare parts, GAM-34 aircraft engines, a test bench and a lorry workshop of the Main Base Area Guard and 80 members of the command staff's families, at 4 pm 24 minutes at a distance of 6 miles bearing 168 degrees from the Ai-Todor lighthouse. _x000D_ The cargo was lost at sea, some of the people were saved. The depth at the site of the T-504 minesweeper is about 150 meters. After the war, on July 15, 2015, a search expedition of the Russian Defense Ministry discovered a Soviet minesweeper in the Black Sea, sunk during the war. In the near future, as planned by the members of the expedition, a memorial plaque with the names of the victims will be installed on the hull of the ship, the place of death of which is precisely determined. _x000D_ In accordance with international and Russian legislation, the sunken ship has been declared a military burial. Full name: Popov Sergey Andreevich last NAME: Popov FIRST name: Sergey PATRONYMIC: Andreevich CITY: Lipetsk region, Stanovlyansky district, village of Trostnoye date of BIRTH: 14.11.1913 DATE of DEATH: 19.12.2008 _x000D_ _x000D_ HISTORY: Sergey Popov carefully keeps photos of the war years, recorded his memories of the hard times. Here are some of them. "In September of the 35th, the Bauman district military Commissariat called me to serve in the black sea fleet. As part of the border detachment of the NKVD (in Sevastopol), he kept watch on a boat, was a radio operator. At the end of my term of service, I was offered to stay for an extended period of time. I agreed. I went home on a three-week vacation, got married, and took my wife to Sevastopol. In July 1940, he was sent to study at the Leningrad naval frontier school. That's where the war caught me. For the first few days, we cadets hoped that the enemy would be stopped and defeated, as defense Minister Voroshilov stated in his speech. The enemy was defeated! But at what cost!.. School stopped. A landing party was created from the sailors of submarines and us, cadets. I was appointed commander of the boat. The fascists, seizing the coast of the Gulf of Finland, approached Leningrad. In the shortest possible time, the military, including the wounded, had to leave the city by ship. My boat, as a convoy, was the last to leave the Harbor under heavy enemy fire. How many people died in those days? Only the sea knows… In December of the 41st, he was wounded and was taken to the Leningrad hospital. There was a famine in the city, and on December 23, we, who were not cured, left Leningrad on foot along the frozen Ladoga river, which was later called the "Road of life". Sergey Andreevich was lucky. He moved to Ladoga and was sent to Sunny Baku for further treatment. And then study again. After graduating from the higher naval school, Lieutenant Popov was placed at the disposal of the Volga military flotilla. ... Taking the boat, participated in the battles of Stalingrad. And again the wound. And again the front. He is the commander of a mine boat with a Katyusha rocket launcher. Participated in the liberation of Tallinn, Leningrad, Riga, Klaipeda, Narva, and the Estonian Islands. "The capture of the capital of Karelia left a deep mark on my memory. In early may, the 44th ships and boats of the Onega flotilla took up positions near the Vytegra base. In terrible battles with heavy losses destroyed the enemy's fortifications. The Karelian front advanced to Petrozavodsk… We landed under heavy crossfire. The success was enormous. The enemy did not have time to open fire and was crushed. The Nazis, hastily leaving the city, destroyed it almost to the ground, sank their ships. What started on the pier when we docked, it is impossible to describe! We fell into the arms of the Soviet people who were yearning in captivity. We were kissed and hugged. The boats were covered with flowers that had come from nowhere. Every resident wanted to touch us to make sure it wasn't a dream. The next day there was a rally in the city, where a member of the Central Committee of the Communist party of the Republic Yu. Andropov and other party leaders… Not to forget the archipelago Moonsund. Here, after the liberation of the city, Kuressaar ended up in a death camp. We, the sailors who have seen death more than once, have passed the war, have not seen such a terrifying picture. The atrocities of the fascists cannot be described" a Group of boats, one of which was commanded by Popov, met in Germany on may 9, 1945. Everyone cheered. This terrible, long war has come to an end!.. Popov probably would have served in the Navy until retirement. But the hardships of the war, the injuries made themselves felt. For health reasons, the sea had to be left. He moved with his family to the village of Gazoprovod, worked for 28 years in the Yeletsky UMG. He retired when he was 76. Sergey Andreevich raised three children. And though fate had saved him from death, it had not been easy, then or now. In 2001, his son died and he left four children. In General, Popov has six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren, like my grandfather, served in the Navy. There are pages about the order-bearer Popov in the book "Onego Battle pennants". Sergey Andreevich wrote a book about the battle path himself. He hopes that it will be published so that his grandchildren and great-grandchildren know that the veteran Popov did not live his life in vain… Prepared By A. Mitusova
