In 1925 , he was a platoon commander of a separate cavalry squadron, the 36th TRANS-Baikal rifle division. He served in the Nerchinsk, Chita. In July 1929, a military conflict broke out in the far East. In order to eliminate it, a Special far Eastern army was created under the command of V. K. Blucher. In it, Alexander Andreevich was the political head of the squadron. At the end of 1939, reactionary circles in Finland organized an armed attack on the USSR.
