Posashkov Trifon Ivanovich
DATE OF DEATH: 07.09.1988 HISTORY: Trifon Ivanovich posashkov, my great-grandfather, was born on February 14, 1916. He joined the Red Army on January 1, 1937. During the service, in may 1939, he participated in the battle of Japanese and Soviet troops on the Khalkhin-Gol river, then was sent to the Soviet-Finnish (winter) war of 1939-1940. And in 1941, the Great Patriotic war began. My grandfather fought in the 256th Fighter Aviation Kiev red banner Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky division. He oversaw the departure of the aircraft on combat missions. On behalf of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the SSR, Trifon Ivanovich posashkov, as a senior aviation mechanic, was awarded the medal "for military merit"in 1945. The order of the red Star and the medal "for the defense of Moscow" in 1944 for the fact that he was on the front of the Patriotic war from 29.06.1944 to its end made 115 different aircraft repairs and engine replacement on three of them. He has 160 flights on his account. The machines that my grandfather prepared for military operations never returned from a combat mission due to a malfunction. Behind the shoulders of my grandfather a large number of military operations: Kiev offensive and defensive operations, the defeat of the Germans in Western Ukraine and many others. In January-February 1945, he participated in the defeat of the Germans in Poland. And finally reached Berlin and was involved in the Berlin offensive operation from April 16 to may 8, 1945. But the war didn't end there for him. The Prague offensive was ahead. My great-grandfather spent 10 long years in The Soviet Army. He returned home only in 1946. How many different events he had experienced and experienced, how much grief and deprivation had fallen on his shoulders. It can't be described in a few words. I'm proud of my great-grandfather. I am amazed at the fortitude and endurance of all the people who were able to win this war. I remember the great Patriotic war, my family and friends remember it. And while it is in our memory, we hope that this will never happen again.
