Khomushku Churgui-ool Namgaevich

On one of these May nights in 1918, in the yurt of the poor cattle-breeder Namgai, a boy was born as the third child in the family. They called him Churgui-ool. In those years, historical events took place in Tuva: there was a struggle for freedom. He was a strong boy, with bright dark eyes and a stubborn little chin. Churgui-ool lost his father early. The father died of illness. "He really was born to the sound of swords," Namgai thought, looking affectionately at his middle son. "He will be a brave man, and he will be very happy." As if he foresaw the future of his son, Churgui-ool really grew up as an inquisitive, intelligent guy. At 18, he secretly went to the army from his mother. But then there was such a case: when they wrote down the names of the guys, one person who stood in front of Churgui-ool said that his surname was Khomushku, then Churgui-ool said without hesitation that his surname was also Khomushku. from then on he became Khomushku. According to the document on-Churgui-ool Khomushku Namgaevich. When the years of service ended, Churgui-ool did not go home, enrolled in driver courses. Khomushku passed the off-road test steadily and courageously. He did not stop there, he began to think about entering a technical school, decided to become a mechanic, and then prepare for college. The childhood and youth of the son of simple arats Kuzhuget Namgaya and Hokpesh is not particularly different from others. The family together with Churgui-ool had 4 children: Serzhi the elder brother, Bichii-sister, Churgui-ool, Chule the younger brother. In his youth, he was a man with advanced views, responsible, headstrong, decisive in character. All his actions are evidence of this. June 22, 1941. From that day on, the Tuvan people began to fight against fascism: to help the front, and the young guys rushed to the front. In 1943, the first volunteer tankers went to the front, including Churgui-ool. After retraining, volunteer Tuvans received the specialties of drivers-mechanics. all of them were enlisted in the 25th regiment of the 72nd tank division. "... soon Uman was captured. The 25th Tank Regiment immediately received a double award: it was awarded the Order of the Red Banner and many tankers were awarded orders and medals. And Khomushku Churguy-ool, the son of an arat of their distant Tuva, became a Hero of the Soviet Union." A long and glorious way was passed by the crew, in which Khomushku worked as a driver. Later Churgui-ool took part in the battles for the liberation of Hungary, Romania and Czechoslovakia. I celebrated Victory Day in Czechoslovakia.
