Vladimir Vasilyevich Bobin was born on 1 August 1926 in the Ivanovo region, Ilinsky district, Makarino village. The family had seven children. He was the youngest. When the general mobilization began, there were only women, old people and children left in the village. The child was allowed to be with the horses, working like everyone else: from darkness to darkness. And soon the call to the army came. They did not send him off to war right away. First an infantry school, a tank school, and after graduation he stayed to teach. But he could not stand it and asked to go to the front. He was enlisted in an artillery regiment. And by that time the war had already passed into foreign territory.It passed through Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary and Austria. The fighting was fierce. After the liberation of Vienna only seven soldiers remained from the regiment. Yes, the war put Vladimir Vasilyevich to a hard test, but he survived, withstood this bloody war. He received the medal "for military merits", the medal "for bravery", "for the victory over Germany", the order of the "Patriotic War 2 degrees". The day of victory found him on the way home - near Budapest, but there he fell ill with malaria and began the ordeal in hospitals. What a fate! No bullet at the front but 4 months he could not recover from the disease. But that was not the end of his military service; it took a long five years before he was demobilized. After the hospital, the former front-line soldier joined a reserve regiment stationed in Western Ukraine. The task was to destroy the Bandera hidden near the city of Kremenets. It was not easy to do this, but the task was accomplished. Then there was a church service in Tashkent. In 1946 he received his first home leave. As his elderly parents needed support, he was transferred to the engineering troops in Shuya as a pioneer and went to the Belgorod region to clear the fertile farmland of mines. He was released in September 1950. Once home, he got a job the next day, met his future wife. Fate threw a young family into the Vichug district. Vladimir Vasilyevich worked at the club Pogorelka, worked as a projectionist, then as an electrician in the weaving mill and worked there until his retirement. When he retired, he did not stay at home, but actively worked in the factory council of veterans. Everywhere he was revered and treated with love. He is a "Veteran of Labor", a War Veteran. Awarded with the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR, awarded with many jubilee medals, disabled of the 2nd group. We wish Vladimir Vasilyevich good health and all the best!
