He was drafted into the Red Army Voznesensky Comissariat, Gorky Region, Voznesensky District in 1939. He served in the 1st Guards Cavalry Stavropol Order of Lenin Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky Division named after M.F. Several years after the end of the war, he moved with his family to the Irkutsk Region, the city of Angarsk, the village of Yugo-Vostochny, 3-9-3. _x000D_ He raised five sons. Egor Ilyich Stepanov passed away in 1998.
