Marshev Petr Egorovich_x000D_ DATE OF BIRTH: 05/19/1923 _x000D_ DATE OF DEATH: 01/31/2010 _x000D_ _x000D_ Marshev Pyotr Egorovich was born in Mordovia, Staroshaigov district, in the village of Staroe Akshino. When the Great Patriotic War began, at the age of 18, he was called up by the Staroshaigov district military registration and enlistment office to dig a trench on the Sura River in the Bolshe-Bereznikovsky District. The defensive trenches were called "Sursk border". After 6 months, my great-grandfather returned. In 1942 he was drafted into the ranks of the active Red Army and was sent to 116th training regiment. Then to 3rd Ukrainian Front as part of 320th Rifle Regimentt as a Starshina of a machine-gun company. _x000D_ As part of 320th regiment, he participated in the liberation of the city of Nikolaev, Odessa region. Then followed in the direction of the city of Odessa. There he was seriously wounded in April 1944. The treatment took place in a field hospital near Odessa in the village of Dalnik. After the hospital, he was sent to the transfer point of the Odessa region. He met the victory in the city of Odessa. He went through the entire war, was awarded many medals and orders, including the Order For Courage. _x000D_ And for another 2 years he served in a separate artillery brigade in the Moscow region, served in the military academy. Demobilized in 1947. From 1947 to 1948 he studied at the Sabur-Machkassk school of mechanization. From 1948 he worked as a machine operator on the Krasnaya Zarya kolkhoz. In 1962 the kolkhoz was renamed into the sovkhoz named after N.P. Ogaryov. _x000D_ Until 1983 he worked as a machine operator in sovkhoz, harvesting grain on a combine. Repeatedly became the winner of the socialist competition, was awarded medals and orders of the winner of the socialist competition. In 1980, he was awarded a certificate of honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR and was awarded the title of "Honored agricultural machine operator of the RSFSR." In his honor, a football cup was played between the regional teams. Such competitions were held for three years in a row. This prize was established in honor of a soldier and a farmer.
