Memoirs of a veteran in 1975: "In 1941, she graduated from medical school and was drafted into the red Army, in a military mobile field hospital, which was formed in the city of Stalingrad. Our hospital was attached to the 62nd guard’s army under the command of General V. I. Chuikov. As part of the army, we went all the way from Stalingrad to Berlin. Our army participated in the liberation of Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland. Already on the territory of Germany, when crossing the Oder river, there were heavy battles. Our hospital was deployed 18 kilometers from Berlin, and we received soldiers who were wounded directly during the storming of the Nazi capital. A few words about our front-line life. During the fighting, we, the medics, sometimes she did not sleep for days, as the wounded came in a continuous stream, and they needed our help. I was an operating nurse. During the war, tens of thousands of our wounded soldiers passed through our mobile field hospital. And each of them had to be taken, washed of blood and dirt, given medical care, performed surgery and sent to the rear for treatment. When there were small breaks from fighting, we studied small arms-a rifle, a machine gun, a submachine gun. To ensure that, if necessary, each nurse can protect wounded soldiers. We also knew how to handle grenades. Despite the military actions, the hospital organized amateur performances. We organized concerts for the wounded: we sang, danced, and read poetry, trying to cheer them up and raise their spirits. And all in order for them to recover faster and return to service." The last battle of the military nurse of the Stalingrad hospital ended on May 9, 1945 in Berlin. Today, a resident of the city of Volzhsky, a war veteran Maria Dmitrievna Rudenko, as she herself says, is a special day. Every year, on the eve of Victory Day, she comes to the monument to fallen soldiers in the civil and great Patriotic wars to lay flowers to those who fell for our Motherland. "It is my duty to honor the memory of the victims," she is convinced. "This is the duty of those who survived thanks to the millions of Soviet soldiers who died in battle." For nurse Rudenko, who spent the entire great Patriotic war as part of the Stalingrad field mobile hospital No. 4185, the battle for the return of front-line soldiers to service continued until the day of the great Victory, which she and the hospital met in Berlin, reports ia "Height 102". With her hospital, which was located in the village of Kuibyshev in the sredneakhtubinsky district, and this place, according to her, was determined by Marshal Georgy Zhukov himself, she went through the roads of war, saving the lives of thousands of Soviet soldiers. "The main thing was that every wounded soldier and commander knew that there was a "sister" who would never leave in trouble, " she says. She remembers how many tears she shed over those who could not be saved. Once the chief doctor of the hospital said to her: "Masha, you will not have enough tears to mourn everyone so much, feel sorry for yourself, the whole war is still ahead." And she was sorry. She drinks Valerian and goes back to the operating table. Surgeries, bandages, more surgeries. As soon as the last one was bandaged, it was time for the first one. The nurses didn't leave the hospital for days. Medals "for the defense of Stalingrad", "for military merit" - the most expensive for a veteran-likes to consider his favorite great-granddaughter Masha, great-granddaughter of Victory, who will soon be 5 years old. For the 94th anniversary of her great-grandmother, whom the girl calls a hero, she drew her portrait. "This is the most expensive gift today - such attention to me," says Maria Dmitrievna Rudenko. In these battles, continued to fight and my grandfather - a red army soldier 15 VDHCP, courageously and bravely overcoming all the hardships of front-line life of the red army rifleman, like many of his thousands of colleagues and millions of Soviet soldiers and citizens carrying out their military and civil duty to protect their homeland, continuing to fight the enemy under their new commander of the regiment, which was assigned as Deputy commander of the 9th VDHCP. They became guards major Sidorok Nikolay Grigoryevich-born in 1903, a career officer with experience in combat operations, awarded the order of the red banner for the liberation of the city of Priluki. He was awarded the order of the red Star. For organizing the defense of the city of Ovruch, he was awarded the order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. He was awarded the order of the red banner for skilful leadership of offensive battles and solid consolidation of the bridgehead on the Moldova river. For successful offensive battles North-West of the city of Iasi, he was awarded the order of the Patriotic War, 1st class. During the offensive battles in Transylvania and on the territory of Hungary, he was awarded the order of Suvorov, 3rd class, for his self-sacrifice, personal bravery and decisive command of the regiment. Mikhail Andreevich Goncharov-a participant in these battles, the author of the book "Blue infantry", described these events as follows: "... the Bridgehead behind the Dnieper has expanded significantly. On November 06, Kiev was liberated. Parts of the division, operating as part of the 13th Army, joined in new battles for the liberation of the right-Bank Ukraine, entered the wooded areas of the Zhytomyr region. Ahead stretched the vast southern woodlands. Here, in the partisan region, the detachments of General A. N. Saburov were active. The army command decided, in cooperation with partisan formations, to seize the city of Ovruch in the deep rear of the enemy, cut the railway and paralyze the enemy's actions on the approaches to the city of Zhytomyr. The partisan battle with the enemy garrison, numbering more than 8 thousand soldiers and officers, lasted for more than 20 hours. On the night of November 18-19, the city was taken." My grandfather Pyotr Markovich also took part in the battles to protect the city of Ovruch, contributing his efforts to the defeat of the enemy who occupied his native Ukraine with the steadfastness and courage of a red army soldier. In his book, Mikhail Andreevich also notes that:"... General A. N. Saburov in his book "Behind the front line", describing in great detail the events of those days and the partisan battles for the liberation of Ovruch, did not say a word about the important role in this operation of the troops of the 13th Army, and, in particular, the paratroopers of the 4th guards VDD." Further, he describes the division's combat operations conducted during the liberation of the city of Ovruch. The division's participation in the battle for the city of Ovruch is evidenced by the order of the Supreme Commander of November 19, 1943. It States: "In the battles for the capture of the city of Ovruch, the troops of Lieutenant-General Pukhov distinguished themselves. Major General Rumyantsev's 4th guard’s airborne division was particularly distinguished. To commemorate the success of the 4th guard’s airborne division, assign the name Ovruchevskaya." After these battles, the division, performing daily and combat tasks, is sent to repel the enemy's offensive attacks, rushing to the Dnieper. As described in his book, Mikhail A. Goncharov: "A particularly brutal battle took place in the area of the village of Lukashovka (Monastyrishchensky district, Cherkasy region). The enemy threw up to 150 tanks and 20 self-propelled guns at the division here. The main blow fell on the 15th guards’ regiment, which was commanded by N. G. Sidorok. But the guards held out. My grandfather Radish Pyotr Markovich also survived, continuing to liberate Ukraine from the enemy, enduring the hardships of front-line life together with his comrades, fighting in battles for villages, cities, liberating Ukraine, Moldova, crossing rivers, moving through fields, forests and swamps, enduring all weather conditions presented by nature. He took his last battle with his comrades, the paratroopers of the guards, on August 20, 1944, participating in the Iasi-Kishenev operation to liberate Romania, and died of wounds on August 21, 1944. During the Yassko-Kishenev operation (August 20-October 25), 1944, on August 20, 1944, 15 VDGSP, after an hour and a half of artillery training, went on the offensive North-West of the city of Iassi. The enemy's defense was built along the ridge of heights that dominated the terrain occupied by our troops, the regiment advanced on the Western slopes of the height of 150.0, where the enemy had a highly developed network of trenches, bunkers, barbed wire and minefields. The regiment by a roundabout maneuver in cooperation with 9 VDGSP defeated the enemy at an altitude of 150.0. Went to the Vakhlui River (Bahlui), forced it and secured a foothold on the dominant heights. In these battles, he was seriously wounded. He died of his wounds on August 21, 1944. He was buried 1.5 km away. South of the village of Romanesti. August 20-21, 1944 before the beginning of the offensive on the village of Romanesti, Hoisesti, Pausesti, and the enemy's firing points were successfully suppressed and the infantry successfully attacked the first line of defense. Leading the offensive against the enemy, the 1st battalion of the 15th VDGSP - the commander of the guard battalion, major Semyon Kanushkin, is fighting at the settlements of Romanesti, Hoisesti, Pausesti and occupies heights 143 and 150. (North-West of the city of Iasi, Romania). Deputy commander of the 15th VDGSP Hero of the Soviet Union Guards major Varin Alexey Mikhailovich, being in the battle formations of the battalions, by personal example (the first rose to the attack) raised the soldiers and commanders to attack to capture the heights, taking the enemy's defense lines, organized his further pursuit. During the battle on August 20, 21, 1944, the 1st battalion destroyed up to 1,000 Romanian soldiers and officers, and about 3,000 were captured." Revazova Vera Aleksandrovna_x000D_ _x000D_ Her name, the wounded soldiers repeated even in delirium. The name is probably given to a person for a reason. And the nurse Vera revazova, indeed, was in a hurry to help at the first call, pulling the wounded from the battlefield. A guardian angel with a medical bag at her side, she will forever remain in the memory of those whom she saved, to whom she gave her blood. Vera Revazova was born and raised in a simple peasant family with many children, in the village of Krasnogor, Ardon district. After finishing seven years, she entered medical school. I didn't study for long. The girl, who had just learned to provide first aid, had to "finish her training" at the front, where she got to after correcting the year of birth in the Komsomol ticket. She was eager to go to war, where her five brothers had gone before her, and she wanted to be useful to the Motherland. In Zmeyskaya village, in his native Ossetia, began her military journey. Vera received her baptism of fire near Mozdok on the night of December 31, 1942 to January 1, 1943. And the war ended for the brave nurse in Berlin and Prague, after which she had a chance to fight in Japan. From Zmeiskaya to Drohobych, Vera Alexandrovna fought as part of the 314th medical battalion of the 271st rifle division, and then, as a major in the medical service, in aviation, as part of the 13th medical battalion of the 2nd guards airborne division. Vera Revazova, a participant in the battles on the southern, North Caucasus, 1st and 4th Ukrainian fronts, holder of the order of the Patriotic war II degree, red Star, awarded many medals, honorary donor, Since 1946 worked in various medical institutions of Vladikavkaz, engaged in Patriotic education of young people.

Runov Pavel Andreevich_x000D_ _x000D_ Our grandfather's name was Pavel Andreevich Runov, he was born on January 28, 1924 in the village of Maryinskoe, Ivanovo region, in a family of ordinary workers. In the army, my grandfather was called to Kronstadt, where he received the rank of Sergeant, and from there went to the front in Leningrad. My grandfather told me that during the defense of Leningrad, he was a driver. On September 8, warehouses where the city's main food supplies were stored were bombed. A fire broke out, completely destroying these warehouses; as a result, famine soon set in. Products, mainly bread, were issued strictly by cards. All the pigeons, cats, dogs, and even rats were eaten in the city. People walked the streets as thin as skeletons, died in the workplace, on the streets. Leningrad ran out of food, and only one road connected the besieged city with the Mainland. This road ran on water. Along this route came the first barges with food, and so on until late autumn. Each of their flights was a feat-enemy aircraft constantly made their raids, weather conditions were often also not in the hands of the sailors-the barges continued their flights even in late autumn, until the ice appeared. Road workers daily measured the thickness of the ice on the entire lake, but were unable to accelerate its growth. On November 20, the ice thickness reached 180 mm. Horse-drawn wagons came out on the ice, and then trucks with food. The ice was very thin, despite the fact that the truck was carrying only 2-3 bags of food, the ice broke, and there were frequent cases when trucks sank. At the risk of their lives, drivers continued their deadly flights until the spring. Military highway No. 101, as this route was called, allowed to increase the bread ration and evacuate a large number of people. The Germans constantly tried to break this thread that connects the besieged city with the country, but thanks to the courage and strength of the spirit of the Leningrad people, the "Road of Life" lived itself and gave life to the great city. The significance of the Ladoga highway is huge, it saved thousands of lives. My grandfather also recalled that the soldiers were exhausted, hungry, and dirty. In winter, at 40 degrees below zero, they were forced to melt snow, warm water, and wash to avoid lice. After that, many soldiers died of pneumonia. The siege of Leningrad lasted 900 days. After Leningrad was liberated, it was necessary to clear the area around the city, which the Germans had mined during the retreat. And my grandfather trained as a sapper and stayed in Leningrad until the end of the war to clear the city. After the war, my grandfather was awarded the medal for the defense of Leningrad and commemorative awards. He was also awarded the order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.

Ilya Rodionov Grigorievich_x000D_ _x000D_ Branch of service: army, air force (except marine aviation), the coast guard, the troops of the NKVD border troops. Division: 93rd guards rifle Kharkiv twice red banner order of Suvorov and Kutuzov division. My grandfather was considered missing, and he was a private soldier! Since I was a child, I knew that my grandfather (my mother's father) was missing at the front. That's what they said at the time. And then somehow everyone fell silent and tried not to answer my questions anymore, saying that you will grow up, you will understand. But in the early 1970s, we learned about a letter from the pioneers to my grandmother, which reported the discovery of a medallion of private Radionov Ilya Grigoryevich. Members of the search party in the forests of the Kursk region found this and other medallions of Soviet soldiers. There was a note inside my grandfather's locket that they used to find my grandmother. But she had long since left the village where she and five young children accompanied their father and husband to the war - the Great Patriotic war. This letter has not been preserved, but we all know that the remains of the red army soldiers were reburied from the forest in a mass grave at the Sazhnoye station in the Kursk region. My grandmother, Elena Radionova, really wanted to visit the places of death and burial of her husband. Each of us tried to comfort her somehow and do something nice. I did the same. In the family photo album, we had a photo of my grandfather, which captured him in a room against a decorative panel with a resort landscape. He was photographed during treatment somewhere in the South of the country. I took this photo from the album to the photo Studio, after asking my mother for money to restore the photo. The small photo was enlarged to a portrait. I gave these portraits to my grandmother and her children: my mother, uncle Volodya, aunt Tosa, aunt Shura, and aunt Raya. So, thanks to search engines, many years later we learned that Ilya Grigoryevich died in battle during the most tragic period of the military operation that went down in history under the name"battle of Kursk". The battle lasted from July 5 to August 23, 1943, and private Radionov went missing on July 14. It was during these days that the German-fascist troops of the army groups "Center" and "South" (field marshals G. Kluge and E. Manstein) launched a major offensive on the "Kursk bulge" trying to regain the strategic initiative lost in the battle of Stalingrad. And many soldiers of the opposing sides were left lying on the battlefields. The Soviet troops of the Central and Voronezh fronts under the leadership of army generals K. K. Rokossovsky and N. F. Vatutin repelled this massive onslaught, and then together with the troops of other fronts launched a counteroffensive and provided a turning point in the war. The bloodiest war continued. And my grandmother, not waiting for her husband, moved with the children closer to their relatives. And all the difficult war and post-war years, only thanks to their work and state care, they managed to raise all the children. In the late 1980-ies, when it was not grandma, one of her grandchildren asked the Central archive of the USSR Ministry of defense and received a certificate, as follows: "the Arrows 278 guards rifle regiment, guards division 93, private Rodionov Ilya Grigoryevich, born 1906, native KAZ. SSR, Tumen, called up by the Khobdinsky RVC, died on July 14, 1943, buried at Sazhnoye station, Kursk region." As the years passed, I wanted to tell the growing children more about their great-grandfather. But it turned out that I knew very little about him, and there was no one to ask. So, I started collecting and recording information about him. And last summer, together with his 17-year-old younger son, he went to Kazakhstan in search of the village from which he left for the front. When we got to the district center, I learned that now Khobdinskiy area called Kobdinsky. We decided to start the search with an obelisk, which should be in the Park in the center of the village. After walking around the village, we found a park, but it was in disrepair with traces of dismantling of some structures. We were advised to go to the new park where at the foot of the epic monument there are seven stone slabs, each of which is carved with the name of a hero who lived in different periods of the history of the peoples living on this land. We didn't find any information about Ilya Grigoryevich there, so we applied to the district akimat (district administration) where the head of the culture Department took patronage over us. And we used it to meet with old residents of the village, who remembered the Rodionov family and advised us to go to the former district center, and also to the small village of Karaganda. Then we were invited to the district military enlistment office, where we were shown the records in the registration logs in the office of the military enlistment office. The first pages of the magazine were badly damaged, but we were holding a magazine with the inscription on the cover - "Alphabet book". In it we found an entry under number 48 about the mobilization of private Rodionov I. G. on October 17, 1942. In the book of the dead and missing, we were shown an entry made on December 25, 1943. This record showed that the family was registered and handed an official letter notifying them of the missing person. Then we were given a Soviet UAZ for a trip to the former district center, where there is an obelisk with the names of dead soldiers carved on it near the village club. There, among dozens of names, we saw the name of my grandfather. So, it turns out that the grandmother could not visit the place where her husband is buried, but she came to this obelisk. She was looking at this "No one is forgotten and nothing is forgotten" sign. When she was here, she visited him. That's right they say: "It's not the fallen who need it — it's the living who need it." Then we went to the village of Karaganda. We were driving off-road and within an hour and a half we saw a village of mud buildings lined up on a single street. We were taken to one of the houses where an old woman lives, who as a child often visited the Rodionovs' house. Her stories about the simple village life of that time made everyone listen. As I returned home, I was mesmerized by the sense of belonging to the great trials that befell our relatives during the war years, and I thought about the kindness and care shown to us by the locals. Apparently so did my son, who broke the silence with the question: "do they know you here?". It was hard for him to believe in the unselfish participation of those who saw us for the first time and helped us find the small homeland of our ancestors. So, after a little research, we learned a lot about our relatives and the people around them in those "forties-fateful" years and living now. And we also learned that in several important documents, the name Radionov was written with the letter "o". But the search for new information should be continued, because judging by the dates of birth of children, Ilya Grigoryevich was wounded and was treated before the beginning of the great Patriotic war. It is known that he was called up for service in peacetime, and then participated in battles and was wounded. After treatment, he went home. Then another daughter was born. And then, as we now know, in October 1942, he was mobilized for war. S. Nikolaev, Orsk, July 2010

But on March 17, Philipp Mikhailovich received an important combat mission, from which he did not return on March 19, 1945! His plane was shot down by a German fighter near the Carpathian Mountains from the Czech Republic. By the end of April, wife received a funeral and a letter from a friend. And 10 days later, the whole country was celebrating the Victory!
