For military distinctions, for exemplary fulfillment of command assignments in the struggle against the German invaders, for taking possession of the city and fortress Osovets and for the valor and courage shown at the same time, the regiment received a thanks of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
