Private First Class Deryugina Ekaterina Mitrofanovna (20.11. 1923 – 29.05.2008) - a native of Stepnaya Mikhailovka village, Mikhailovsky District, Voronezh Region. Drafted into the army in April 1942 at the age of 18. She served in Anti-Aircraft Artillery as part of the Separate Anti-Aircraft Artillery Division No.510, Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment No.183. She participated in liberation of Ukraine and Poland. She met the Victory Day in Frankfurt an der Oder, Germany. The photo was taken from 1945. Source - archive of E.M. He served in the 31st army, 247th rifle division, 778th artillery regiment, in the 3rd division as a gunner. He spent about 11 months at the front. On December 14, 1942 he was seriously wounded. He returned home in May 1943 as a disabled person of the 2nd group ...
