After storming the Reichstag. Wounded - Senior Sergeant Gazi (Gazetdin) Kazykhanovich Zagitov. On April 30, 1945, at 22:40 as part of an assault group under the command of Guard Captain V.N. Makov's, he was the first to hoist the Red Banner over the Reichstag building. At the same time he was wounded in the chest, but continued the fight.
