Major General, Brigade General of the Polish Szymanski Troops Leonard Czesławowicz. Leonard Szymanski was born in 1901 in Belev, Tula region. Major-General of the USSR Armed Forces and a brigade general of the Polish People's Army. Graduated from the Military Academy of Air Defense named after K.E. Voroshilov in Moscow. Since 1942 - teacher of military chemistry at the Officers' School in Moscow, since 1943 - teacher of tactics at the training centre for technical troops. Since 1944, he has served in the Polish People's Army. Course leader and teacher of chemical defence at the infantry school in Rembertuw and at the officer school of chemical defence troops.
