Lunev Andrey Vasilyevich (1919-1997) was born in the village of Kuzminka, Sergach district. In army since February, 1940. He served near Tula in the 747th rifle regiment. From the beginning of the war he fought in Belarus, was wounded, and captured near Mogilev. Tried to escape, was wounded in the legs. He was in camps in Belarus, in Germany until 1945. He was awarded the Order of Patriotic War II degree.
