Abulgatina Munira Safovna was born on 20 January 1927 in the village of Sintashevo, Toporninskaya parish, Ufa konton, the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (now Blagovarsky district of Bashkortostan) in the family of a teacher. She served in the 3261st Separate Air Defence Brigade. The Brigade took part in the liberation of the cities of Belgorod, Kursk, Kiev, Zhitomir, Koval and Lodz. Within the ranks of this Brigade, Munira Safovna served conscientiously and courageously. She held various positions: as a telephonist, communications department commander, gunner, scriber and party leader. She returned home in August 1945 as a senior sergeant and was awarded the medal "For Combat Services", "For the Victory over Germany".
