Georgy Pavlovich Baturin, our great-grandfather. He was in the service with the rank of senior lieutenant, took part in the battles near Moscow. Later he was sent to the Far East as the deputy commander of the 91st company of the recovery-railway battalion. In 1943 he was wounded, was in the hospital for a month, and then sent home to rest.
