Chaus Anastasia Kirillovna
Chaus Anastasia Kirillovna was born in 1916 in the village of Semenovka, Lipovo-Dolinovsky district, Sumy region. Before the war she worked at one of the factories of Simferopol, which in October 1941 was evacuated to Sevastopol. From the beginning of the defense of Sevastopol, she worked as a stamp-maker at the special plant No. 1. On November 2, 1941, during a raid by the fascist aviation, Anastasia was seriously wounded and lost her left arm. After treatment, she refused to evacuate and continued to work at the stamping machine, bringing the production rate to 200-230%. For her labor feat on February 23, 1942, she was awarded the Order of the Red Star. In the postwar years she lived in the city of Mstislavl, Mogilev region of Belarus.
