Bunkov Fedor Yegorovich was born on February 17, 1926 in the village Kupai. Private, a rifleman. Military unit 1223. He was called for the military service as a seventeen-year-old boy in 1943 in Chebarkul. He served in a motor-rifle unit. Some of them took part in the Battle of Kursk. He was wounded in the right arm. His arm was saved, but the tendons were broken and the fingers did not unbend. Invalided from service. He returned home in 1944. Awarded of a medal.
