Infantry private soldier, home front worker. Born in 1923 in Uren District, Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) Region. Drafted into the Army as part of the infantry. In one of the battles he got a shell-shock and was hospitalized. After the hospital he was discharged and sent to the home front, to a collective farm (kolkhoz) where he helped to provide food for our Army until the end of the war.
