Mochneva Anna Ivanovna - participant of the Great Patriotic War of 1943-1945, a resident of the city of Pugachev, Saratov region. She did not have to visit the front line. A medical worker, since March 1944 she worked in the evacuation hospital No. 3002 of the 1st Ukrainian Front. The seriously wounded, with wounds to the chest and lower extremities, were treated here; almost all were bedridden. The only task of the medical workers was to restore the health of the defenders of the Motherland as quickly as possible and return them to combat formation. She was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" and the badge "Excellence in Sanitary Service".
