Margarita Ivanovna Putrenko, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, was born in Kolpashevo, Tomsk Region. She aspired to the front as a volunteer, but was constantly denied. Thanks to a coincidence of circumstances, at the age of 19 she still found herself on the front line. She served in 1870 as an anti-aircraft artillery regiment, 1036th sorting evacuation hospital, fought on the 2nd Ukrainian front, participated in the liberation of Romania and Hungary, the commander of the communications department, hospital nurse, senior sergeant. She was awarded the Order of National War II degree. She met the victory in Hungary, where she ended up with the hospital. Photo taken in Hungary 12.03.1945.
