In August 1942 he was drafted into the army and sent to the school of junior commanders, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Klyukvennaya station. At the end of which he was awarded the rank of junior sergeant and he was sent to the city of Kansk for further service, where he remained until September 1943. In September 1943 he was sent west. In the city of Omsk, his detachment was reorganized and sent to the front. From the city of Velikiye Luki (Moscow region), as part of the 84th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 11th Guards Army, he reached the city of Konigsberg (Kaliningrad) through Belarus. He was first wounded in Belarus in February 1944, on March 24 he was sent to the hospital. The second wound is also in Belarus near the city of Orma. The third, last, in the city of Konigsberg on April 9, 1945. After recovering, he was sent to the military hospital No. 672 where he worked as a radio technician. In 1955 he was sent on a Komsomol ticket to Northern Kazakhstan for the development of virgin lands, where he worked until 1986.
