Rank: Sergeant. Type of the Army: Artillery Division: 150th Rifle Idritsko-Berlin order of Kutuzov Division. Sergeant Leonid Aleksandrovich Germizeev was the Commander of the 45mm Gun battery. He was born in Omsk region, Tarsky district, Lozhnikovo village in 1918, was called up to the Arny on October 5,1939 by Tarsky RVC, Omsk region.He was killed on July 23,1944.The primary burial place is probably 500 m West of the village of Bylanino ( Reicke district, Kaunata region of the Latvian SSR).His father - Germizeev Alexander Akimovich-lived in Omsk region, Tarsky district, Lozhnikova village.During the search work, it was established, that the primary burial site is located 500 metres West from Baltyn village( the Latvian SSR).Judging by the names of other localities (Besovka, Sobolevo, Bondari, Chornoye), where the division of soldiers died on July 23-26, we are talking about the Balynov estate (Balinov) or the village of Baltyn. Since there were no administrative borders on the topocards, the clerc did not note that in some places it is already a neighboring parish - Reznas (including the manor). Moreover, the border between the parishes was just in this place. But after the war the borders changed, it is now the parish of Charnas. The bodies were reburied from those places on the memorial in the village of Mitri."
