Karachakov Vasily Danilovich was born in 1927. Drafted in 1945 by the Saralinsky District Military Commissariat. He fought as a private, anti-aircraft gunner of the Trans-Baikal Front, 1279 reserve artillery regiment. He was awarded of the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class, the medal "For Victory over Japan." Demobilized in 1945. He worked as a tractor driver at the Chulym state farm. Died in 1983
