Rybalchenko Semen Vasilievich (1908-1944) Private First Class. He worked as a driver and combine operator at the Komissarovsky state farm. In March 1944, in the battles for Moldova, when breaking through the enemy's defenses, he was the first to break into the enemy's strongholds, dragging the fighters with him. In street battles and in repelling counterattacks, he destroyed up to 20 and captured 10 Nazis, destroyed 2 machine-gun points. He died in battle on April 7, 1944, was buried in a mass grave in Todireshty village, Ungheni region of Moldova.
