Malnev Ivan Sergeevich. Born in 1910. He went to the front in 1944, in the 1258th artillery regiment as a signalman-wire operator of artillery units. His duty was to provide stable communications for command and control of troops and alert about the situation at the fronts, to supply the headquarters with the necessary information, to deliver information to the unit, to transmit orders from the command to the field. He was demobilized in October 1945.
