Volkov Ivan Semenovich was born in 1918 in the Mishkino village. Graduated from Masley primary secondary school, Kurgan railway technical school. Drafted into the army in 02/05/1940, Mishkino. Graduated from the Syzran Tank School. Lieutenant, platoon commander of T-34 tanks, 174th tank brigade. He received a severe wound in the head in a heavy battle for the Podkletnoye point near Voronezh, fulfilling a command assignment on July 27, 1942. He was awarded of the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, Medal of Zhukov, and the medal “For Victory over Germany”.
