He was drafted into the army in 1941 by the Prokhladnensky regional military commissariat. Sergeant First Class served as a signalman in the 14th separate rifle brigade, a separate signal company No.1350. He fought on the Volkhov front, 2nd and 3rd Baltic fronts, Leningrad front, 2nd Belorussian front. He met the Victory Day on the Rugen island near the Shlisselburg. Demobilized from the army on September 25, 1945. Awards: Medal "For Combat Service", "For Victory Over Germany”. After the war, he worked in a linear technical signal operations centre. On April 5, 1973 his name was entered in the Book of Honor of the Ministry of Communications of the USSR and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Communications Workers.
