Konstantin Ignatievich was born in a large and friendly family in Vodopad khutor (village), Stavropol Krai (Stavropol Territory). In 1941 he graduated with honors from the Pyatigorsk Political and Educational School. He started his career as a propagandist in the evacuation hospital in Yessentuki. In 1942 he was called up to the front. Front roads: North-Western, 2nd and 3rd Ukrainian, Baltic Fronts, Central Group of Forces in Vienna. Participated in the defeat of a German tank group southwest of Budapest in March 1945. After the war Konstantin Ignatievich Gorslavsky moved with his family to Maysky workers settlement. Since 1951 he worked in the regional newspaper "Leninsky Put' " as an Executive Secretary (Executive Editor).
