Anna Matveevna Shironina (12/29/1914 - 02/24/1997) second left. After graduating from Kuibyshev Military Medical Academy in 1942, she was drafted. She made a difficult career of a field surgeon. She met Victory Day in Berlin. Anna Matveevna's work on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War was awarded orders and medals. Anna Matveevna has been working in our city since 1951. She started as a district therapist, and as of 1956 she became chief physician of the polyclinic No. 1. Anna Matveevna's labor activity was awarded Order of Red Banner of Labor (1966). In 1958 she got title "Honored Doctor of the RSFSR" and Honored Citizen of town of Sarov.
