Photo shows Anna Andreevna Veilert (Nikolaeva), Sergeant, born in 1924 (R) with her friends in combat. Drafted in 1942 in Saraktash district of Chkalovsk region; she served as Squad Commander of 3rd Company of Separate machine-gun battalion of 1st Separate Woman Volunteer Infantry Brigade, then in 25 th Infantry Regiment of 4th Infantry Division of Internal troops of NKVD. She took part in liberation of Belarus. After the war she lived in the village of Kumak, later in the town of Yasny. She died in 2009. She was buried in the town of Yasnoye, Orenburg Region.
