Markovchin Fedor Timofeevich, shooter of 5th Infantry company, 1st Guards Infantry Sevastopol Red Banner Regiment, 2nd Infantry Taman Red Banner Order, Suvorov Division named after M.I. Kalinin. In the battle for village of Lidovyany, Lithuanian SSR on August 3, 1944, he acted boldly and bravely, approached by crawling enemy's machine-gun point and destroyed its crew with a granade. Also killed three of attacking Nazi German by submachine gun fire. Parished in the battle. Awarded with Order of Patriotic War, first class, posthumously. Buried in mass grave No. 6, 1st in the 1st row.
