The events of the Great Patriotic War did not leave my family behind. My grandfather Danilov Ivan Danilovich and his brothers, participants in the Second World War, gave their lives for the freedom of the Motherland. Unfortunately, I could not discover in detail the combat path of my grandfather. I know that he was seriously wounded in battle. After he was released from hospital, my grandfather was discharged from the army. He came back home with one leg injured. The disease called gangrene began. Due to blood poisoning my grandfather could not live long after coming home. I am sure that my grandfather and his brothers were participants of big Historical events of my Motherland and the history of my family echoes the history of the country! Danilov Ivan Danilovich 1904
