Ivanov Maksim Semenovich, born in 1912, a native of the village of Vizimbir, Kuzhenersky district of the Mari ASSR. In July 1941 he went to the front. He fought at Stalingrad, liberated Ukraine, was in military service until September 1946. He was awarded orders and medals.
