Seryi Petr Markovich

Seryi Peter Markovich was born in 1908 in the village of Novotroitsk. In 1941, he was drafted by the Rodinsky Regional Military Commissariat into the ranks of the Red Army. For his selfless service to the Motherland in the fight against the German invaders, he was awarded the Medal For Courage. Repeatedly participated in offensive battles in the area of cities: Stalingrad, Oryol, Kiev. He was wounded three times. He served as an example when performing combat missions. Died 21.09.1944 in Latvia.
