Anikiev Evgeny Petrovich

Evgeny Petrovich Anikeev was born on November 28, 1924 in the village of Nikolskoye, Kurkinsky district, Tula region. Drafted into the army in 1942, after graduating from the Ryazan Red Banner Machine Gun School named after K.E. Voroshilov. Was appointed commander of the crew. He took part in the battles near Tula, Bryansk, ended the war in Germany. He was awarded medals "For Courage" and "For Victory over Germany". He worked at the institute from 1961 to 1997 at the Department of Higher Mathematics.
