Nikolayev Nikolay Ilyich was born on 05.12.1916 in a family of peasants. 28.06.1941 was drafted by the Rodinsky Regional Military Commissariat of the Altai Territory. He fought in the Voronezh Front with the rank of foreman, commander of a separate cable-telegraph company of the 59th separate Lviv communications regiment. He was awarded the medal "For Courage". Having passed through all of Europe, he ended the war in Berlin. After the war and until his retirement he worked as the head of the oil depot. He did not like to talk about the war.
