Pashina Maria Petrovna. In 1942, among 400 girls, she was sent by the Abakan military registration and enlistment office to Krasnoyarsk, where the evacuated Kiev communications school was housed. In February 1943, she was sent to the 197th battalion of the 160th separate line-operational communications regiment of the Central Front, under the command of G.K. Zhukov, a signalman.
