Pupils brought from besieged Leningrad called our mother the director of Mokro - Maidan orphanage, Alexandra Maksimovna Krasnova. During the war, for children from the besieged city in the Sergach district of the Gorky region, 4 orphanages were opened in the villages of Tolba, Sosnovka, Voskresenskoye and Mokry Maidan.
