Klimov Makar Savinovich, common soldier. He was born on January 28, 1925 in the village of Novoselsk, Yumochkin village council, Khlebnikov district of Mari Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. From January 1943 to March 1944 he participated in the Great Patriotic War as a member 878th rifle regiment of the 1st Belarusian Front - rifleman. During the Second World War, he was seriously wounded in the shins of both legs in Belarus. He died on July 22, 2013 in the village of Krupino, and was buried in the cemetery of the village of Khlebnikovo, Mari-Turek region of the Mari El Republic.
