Field photographs depicting the combat track of the 309th Piryatinsk Rifle Division, which was named “Liskin” by the people, despite the fact that it was formed far away in the Krasnoyarsk Region. The 309th Rifle Division was directly involved in the liberation of the Liski district and made a huge contribution to the outcome of the Ostrogozhsko-Rossoshan operation. The division's front-line photographer was Igor Borisovich Venyukov, who throughout the war took pictures of the battles and lives of his fellow soldiers on an old FED camera. Part of the huge archive of Igor Borisovich remained in the Museum of Liski, Voronezh Region.
