Approximately in 1939-1940 he received the rank of captain. And already in 1941, the Great Patriotic war begins, which forced Philipp to go to the front, and Claudia to return to Visokoye. In July 1941, on the basis of the Stupino aviation school, the 56th fighter battalion was formed, in which Philipp Mikhailovich served on the basis of stories. On June 19, 1941, the 6th Fighter Aviation corps, which includes 11 fighter regiments, was formed to defend the capital of our Motherland, Moscow. Including 171, in which Philipp Rasskazov served as a squadron Commissar and had the position of political Commissar. At this time, Philipp Mikhailovich participates in the battle of Moscow (for which 30.04.45 will be awarded a medal, but will not receive it due to death.). After the battle of Moscow, 171 IAP was transferred to the Tula district, where Philipp Mikhailovich received the order of the Red Star and the medal for military merit for his active work among the Junior staff. Already in 1944, F. M. Rasskazov was sent to the Bryansk front. Philipp Mikhailovich was transferred to the 181st guard’s fighter regiment, where he served in the 10th air assault Stalingrad corps of the order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky. Closer to 1945, 181 ISU relocated to the Western regions. Due to the lack of average command staff, officers were strictly forbidden to perform long combat flights. But Philipp was eager to fight, but waited for Victory! He wrote to his wife in his last letter that the war would soon end and they would meet again. But on March 17, Philipp Mikhailovich received an important combat mission, from which he did not return on March 19, 1945! His plane was shot down by a German fighter near the Carpathian Mountains from the Czech Republic. By the end of April, wife received a funeral and a letter from a friend. And 10 days later, the whole country was celebrating the Victory!
